Xhortation began with a calling.
Hey! I’m Jennifer Meisel, the founder behind the brand. This vision didn't begin with me. The foundation for living a Christ-centered life was first laid by my parents, CA and Irene Meisel. Years later, God placed the vision for Xhortation on my heart. After months of prayer and hesitation, I realized that faith isn't only about hearing God's call—it's about answering it.
As a lover of refined fashion, I often found myself searching for clothing that aligned with both my personal style and my beliefs. While there are many inspiring Christian apparel brands, I struggled to find one that reflected the elevated, understated aesthetic I was looking for.
During one of the most challenging seasons of my life, I was reminded of Ephesians 6:10–18—the call to put on the full armor of God. I found myself wishing I could quite literally wear that armor—something personal, unseen, yet powerful. Something that could bring comfort, strength, and peace.
That moment became the foundation for Xhortation. The name Xhortation is taken from the spiritual gift of "exhortation"- or encouragement.
Every design is created with intention, featuring Bible verses of Praise, Encouragement, and Protection discreetly placed on the inside of each garment—a quiet reminder carried close, known only to the wearer. Because the greatest strength is often the strength no one else can see.
Xhortation exists to inspire the way you move through the world.
